Account Fees
We don't want to charge you any fees! Wherever possible we partner with regional and sector based membership organisations and offer accounts to their members for free. If your guild or association has not yet become one of our partners, give them a nudge and get them to talk to us! Any not-for profit organisation or guild / organisation that exists for the benefit of it's members should qualify for our free partner package. Even private commercial organisations can benefit from heavily subsidised rates, so it is always worth talking to your local representative first
If you don't belong to one of our partner organisations, don't worry - you can still join! Unfortunately if you sign up directly we do have to charge you a minimal fee though.
Direct Membership Fees
We have several different account types, designed to suit your individual needs. The basic account options are:
Deluxe Listing - £10pm or £90pa
A deluxe listing gives you the ability to add a detailed profile, with imagery, and lets you create promotional vouchers to print out and use offline. This is aimed at, for example, butchers, farm shops or craft fairs and collectives that do not require e-commerce tools but want to be able to attract people to their premises.
Pub / Restaurant Listing - £10pm or £90pa
Available to local pubs and restaurants providing a detailed profile page, news tool, events tool, menu tool and voucher tool to produce offer coupons (e.g. 2 for 1 deals). There are a limited number of vouchers available per month for free, with the option of buying more if required.
Producer Package - £20pm or £200pa + 10% Transaction fee
Available to certified producers (ie those who meet required health and hygiene rules or any other applicable laws), the producer package includes a full suite of e-commerce tools, complete with 'sponsored' content tools (allowing you to add visibility to your community contribution and drive customers to your products), news & events tools, voucher tools, and full e-commerce, stock and order processing tools.
Reduced Fees and free membership
BuyGB.co.uk encourages all producers to talk with their local membership organisations or representative bodies, as we can offer fee-free Producer packages to producers introduced through partner membership organisations. Members introduced in this way pay no monthly fees and may qualify for lower transaction fees. Check our BuyGB Partners or email your representative to find out if they are already partnered with BuyGB.co.uk.
Transaction Fees
Currently all sales through the website are subject to a 10% transaction fee that covers our banking charges and allows us to underwrite any complaints and refunds. We are hoping to be able to lower this rate as we go forward.
