All of Mr Todiwala’s Splendidly Spicy and Deliciously Hot Pickles and Chutneys are hand-made in the restaurant kitchens of Café Spice Namaste, renowned Chef Cyrus Todiwala’s landmark Indian restaurant in London. Inspired by Pervin – Mrs Todiwala – and the culinary tastes of thousands of loyal followers over the years, Chef Cyrus has created the ultimate condiment without preservatives except citric acid crystals. They possess certain qualities that may be lacking in more mass-produced products. Besides being more seasonal, these gourmet pickles and chutneys also depend largely on local produce and exotic meats such as venison, wild boar, game, prawns, fish and other products which are great for pickling.

In 2009, Café Spice Namaste was Highly Commended in the Sustainable Food Category of the City of London Sustainable Cities Awards and Chef Cyrus was named a Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London. In 2010, he was awarded an OBE in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours List for services to the hospitality industry.
