Essex Festival of Food and Drink
The inaugural Essex Festival of Food and Drink aims to celebrate and showcase Essex’s finest producers, chefs, vineyards, farmers markets and food vendors.
From market stalls offering up seasonal produce to make the high street supermarket cower in shame to locally produced meats and delicacies to wines and beers.
And that’s not all, we have the absolute royalty of the celebrity chef kingdom as top television and 5AA Rosette and Michelin award-winning chef Jean Christophe Novelli heads the line-up of chefs demonstrating at the Rangemaster Chefs on Stage Cookery Theatre.
Sharing the bill with Jean Christophe will be our very own celebrity master chef from Essex, Mark Baumann, owner of Baumanns Brasserie in Coggeshall.
There will be many highlights to the festival and we will continually update the web site with new additions over the coming months, so keep checking for the latest news.
We look forward to welcoming you to the festival set in the historic grounds and medieval barns of Cressing Temple Barns, near Braintree, on 9th and 10th July 2011.
