A box of young Grouse from the heather uplands. All birds are oven-ready and expertly graded and prepared.
Blackface Meat Company collect the birds from estates around the uplands of Scotland. Grouse eat heather and little else so their meat is imbued with a delicate gamey taste and has been described as an'organoleptic delight'. Slow Food recently added Grouse to their 'Ark of Taste'.
